Are you new to Mermaids, new to theatre, or have an aspect of theatre production that you want to try out? That's amazing! This your chance! Mermaids operates a shadowing scheme to let as many as possible gain experience of how a show gets made and the various roles that are needed for a successful production. You can choose to shadow as a general productions assistant and help out with a bit of everything, or ask to shadow a specific role on the production team for a more detailed insight into what that role entails.

 

The shadowing opportunities have to offer each semester depends on the productions that are being put up, but please contact our Productions Coordinator Jacob (merprodcoordinator@) or our Engagements Officer Eleanor (ew239@) for more information and to express your interest!
